CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

PESCO is a public sector utility company under the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) which provides Electricity to its valuable customers under its operational jurisdiction. Company is inviting applications for recruitment of suitable candidates to fill the following positions for its Market Implementation & Regulatory Affairs Department (MIRAD), purely on contract basis on lump sum pay basis extendable subject to satisfactory performance.

ACA Intermediate/ICMA Intermediate /ACCA Affiliate or any equivalent qualification recognized by body of Professional Accountants with 3 years relevant experience OR
M.Com/MBA(Finance); MS Finance with minimum 5 years post qualification experience in financial management, contract/commercial finance, treasury or regulatory finance, preferably in the power / utility sector
The Candidate should possess understanding of CTBCM, Regulatory Affairs, bilateral contract and bidding process. Having knowledge of electricity market shall be an added advantage.
Age Limit: upto 40 years
2 Deputy Manager (Legal & Contract)
(Contractual Pay Scale: 18)
(No of posts: 1)		 LLB (16 years)/LLM from and HEC recognized university. Minimum 05 -years post qualification experience in contract. corporate / commercial law or regulatory litigation, preferably involving the power / energy sector or public sector entities.
Age Limit: upto 40 years

General Instructions

  • 1. The appointments shall be made purely on a contractual basis under the applicable PESCO Contractual Employees Policy and shall be extendable subject to satisfactory performance, organizational requirements, and approval of the Competent Authority.
  • 2. Applications, accompanied by a detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) in chronological order, attested copies of educational testimonials, professional certifications, experience certificates, CNIC, recent passport-size photographs, and other relevant documents, with reference (15) days from the date of publication of this advertisement, not later than 30th July 2026.
  • 3. Only shortlisted candidates, meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria, shall be called for interview.
  • 4. Incomplete applications, received after the due date, or those not accompanied by the requisite documents shall not be entertained.
  • 5. The applicant must be a citizen of Pakistan.
  • 6. Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous, or Public Sector Organizations shall apply through the proper channel.
  • 7. Candidates with original educational, professional, and experience documents, along with a valid CNIC, at the time of interview or whenever required during the recruitment process.
  • 8. No TA/DA shall be admissible at any stage of the recruitment process.
  • 9. PESCO reserves the right to cancel, withdraw, modify, or withhold the recruitment process, either partially or wholly, at any stage, without assigning any reason.
  • 10. If any information or document submitted by a candidate is found to be false, fabricated, forged, or misleading at any stage of the recruitment process, or if subsequent information reveals the candidate to have made misrepresentation, the candidature will be canceled, and legal action may be taken under the applicable laws. Any financial loss caused to PESCO shall also be recoverable from the candidate in accordance with law.
