Applications are invited for filling up the following post as per provisions of the MP Scale Policy 2020 (as amended from time to time) under the Federal Government.

QUALIFICATION / EXPERIENCE / ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

 
Criteria Details
Qualification Option 1: Ph.D. in Law with 05 years of professional experience / practice in the High Court / Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Option 2: Masters in Law (LL.M) with 07 years of experience / practice in the High Court / Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Preferred Experience Preferably dealing with service matters of Government / Corporation employees.
Age Limit Maximum 62 years.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF DEPUTY LEGAL ADVISOR (MP-II)

The Deputy Legal Advisor shall:

  1. Assist the Legal Advisor in the performance of all his/her duties.

  2. Undertake functions assigned to him/her, including:

    • Preparation of legal documents.

    • Providing legal opinions on different cases.

    • Representing the Establishment Division as Departmental Representative in various Courts.

GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Contract Duration: The appointment is initially for a period of three (03) years, further extendable for a maximum period of two (02) years on an annual (yearly) basis, subject to satisfactory performance.

  2. Merit Basis: The post will be filled strictly on merit basis.

  3. Withholding Rights: The Establishment Division reserves the right to reject any or all candidates without assigning any reason.
