NADRA, established under Section 9-10 and 11 of the NADRA Ordinance 2000, is seeking the services of highly skilled, experienced, and professional individuals for the following positions:

## Positions, Eligibility Criteria & Job Details

1. Deputy Director (Database Security)

• Maximum Age: 44 Years

• Educational Background:

  • Bachelors (4 Years) or Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Degrees must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Masters in a relevant subject will be preferred.

• Professional Experience: Minimum 6 years of technical hands-on experience in Database Security and Database Analytics.

• Preferred Certifications: IBM Guardium Admin, Oracle Database Security Administration, Database Foundations, Database SQL, CompTIA CySA+, Data+, or equivalent.

2. Assistant Director (Database Security)

• Maximum Age: 37 Years

• Educational Background:

  • Bachelors (4 Years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, or an equivalent related field from an HEC-recognized university.

  • Degrees must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

• Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in a reputable organization across Information Security, Information Technology, Database Administration, or Network Device Administration.

• Preferred Certifications: Certification/Badge in any IBM Security Product, or Information Security certificates such as CySA+, Data+, or equivalent.

### Core Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies (For Both Positions)

• Develop plans and assess database security requirements for each application; apply monitoring and protection solutions.

• Install, configure, and set up Guardium appliances for database activity monitoring and protection.

• Plan, design, and implement Database Auditing and Monitoring, Guardium Appliance Sizing and Architecture, User Management, Policy, Alert/Report Definition and Management, and Guardium Life Cycle Management.

• Ensure timely patching of Guardium appliances and renewal of licenses.

• Generate vulnerability assessment reports for timely patching and resolution by DBAs and system administrators.

• Monitor all databases, their activities, and Guardium health investigation dashboards.

• Troubleshoot Guardium-specific incidents with IBM support.

• Apply expertise in data analytics to automate daily and weekly incident reporting; resolve incidents with data owners.

• Collaborate with system administrators for provision optimization of Guardium appliances.

• Provide database security requirements for new projects from time to time.

• Monitor user behavior and identify risks through active threat analytics.

• Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and data protection mechanisms.

• Implement cybersecurity controls for both on-premises and cloud-based databases.

## Terms & Conditions (Translated from Urdu)

1. Probation Period: The selected candidates must complete a 6-month probation period, which may be extended based on performance.

2. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the test/interview.

3. Management Rights: NADRA reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage or reject any application without assigning any reason.

4. False Information: Providing false information or misrepresenting facts will result in immediate disqualification.

5. Government Employees: Candidates serving in government organizations must apply through the proper channel and provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of the interview.

6. Age Relaxation: A 5-year general age relaxation is already included in the maximum age limits mentioned above.

7. Clearance: Selected candidates must provide clearance certificates and character antecedents.

8. Expenses: No TA/DA (Travel Allowance / Daily Allowance) will be admissible for the test or interview.

9. Verification: Original degrees verified by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and relevant regulatory bodies must be produced at the time of the interview.
