Position & Age | Educational Background | Job Requirements

Chief Information Security Officer — Age (Max): 55 Years

Masters in Information Security/Information Technology/Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent from an HEC-recognized institution (Degrees must be attested by HEC).

Preference will be given to candidates holding a Ph.D./Doctorate degree.

Relevant Certifications in IS Audits, especially CISA, CISM, etc., shall be preferred.

Professional Experience:

• Minimum 10 years in Senior Positions in Information Security operations and management roles.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (national/international), technological advancements in industry, and international best practices.

• Profound knowledge to steer organizational strategy and align it with NADRA's vision for Information Security (IS)/Cyber Security (CS).

• Expert in need analysis, gap identification, and taking corrective measures to address identified issues.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Ability to represent NADRA at local and international forums on matters related to IS/CS.

• Good leadership qualities and abilities to handle a team of IS professionals.

• Ability to analyze complex issues, think critically, and make informed, timely decisions as per arising critical scenarios.

Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies:

• Planning and implementation of Data Security framework and technology.

• In-depth knowledge of information management, governance, risk assessment, and compliance frameworks.

• Development and management of Security Operation Centre, knowledge of required technology and its integration with the organization's IT infrastructure.

• Experience of developing IT Forensic Investigations Framework and Incident Response Mechanism in a large organization.

• Operation and management of Cyber Threat Intelligence Platforms, develop linkage to the IS paradigm of the organization and possible impact.

• Mentor organization's software/applications vulnerability assessment and network pen-testing efforts/tasks.

• Planning and conducting IS training and awareness activities across the organization.

• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement to foster collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and regulatory bodies (national/international) to ensure effective policy development and implementation.

• Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to encourage a culture of continuous improvement, staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technological risks to make informed, evidence-based policy modifications.

Place of Posting: Islamabad

Terms and Conditions:

1. The selected candidate shall undergo a probation period of 6 months, during which performance shall be assessed.

4. The Authority reserves the right to stop or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.

5. In case of providing false information at any stage, the candidate shall be declared ineligible.

6. Providing a No Objection Certificate (NOC) is mandatory.

7. Generally, a relaxation of 5 years in the prescribed age limit shall be admissible.

8. Traveling Allowance (TA/DA) shall be admissible as per rules.
