NADRA invites applications from suitable, qualified, and experienced professionals for the following positions on a contract basis (initially for a period of one year, extendable if required).

Position & Age | Educational Background | Job Requirements

Deputy Assistant Director (Junior DevOps Engineer)
Age (Max): 30 Years
Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field from an HEC recognized university (Degrees must be attested by HEC). A Master's degree will be preferred.
Professional Experience: 0-1 year of relevant experience.
Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of web servers, GIT, CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages like Python, Java, Bash, Ruby etc.

• Knowledge of obfuscation, Ansible and Puppet.

• Containerization services like Docker/Kubernetes.

• In-streaming and real-time platforms like Rabbit MQ, Apache Kafka.

• Hands-on experience in managing databases like Oracle, Postgres, Redis etc.

• Hands-on development environments.

• Working knowledge of Azure, AWS etc. would be preferred.

Deputy Assistant Director (Junior Infrastructure Engineer)
Age (Max): 30 Years
Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science/Information Technology/Telecom Engineering/Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field from a recognized university (HEC). (Degrees must be attested by HEC).
Professional Experience: 0-1 year of relevant experience.
Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of maintaining high-availability storage, networking systems.

• Knowledge of Linux, Windows, and Unix operating systems.

• Knowledge of virtualization: vSphere, Hyper-V, or KVM.

• Knowledge of shell scripting and automation using Ansible/Chef.

• Knowledge of enterprise and application servers, including Tomcat, Apache, Oracle WebLogic, and IBM WebSphere.

• Knowledge of comprehensive backup and disaster recovery operations.

• Proactively monitor system performance and resource utilization for capacity planning and bottleneck mitigation.

Deputy Assistant Director (VAS Operations)
Age (Max): 30 Years
Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field from an HEC recognized university (Degrees must be attested by HEC).
Professional Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities, Skills & Competencies:

• Basic exposure to open-source technologies related to VoIP platforms.

• Understanding dashboards, flows, queues, IVR agents monitoring.

• Knowledge of Basic Linux Fundamentals (CentOS, Ubuntu, openSUSE, Debian), VMware, Ceph architecture, GIT, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, networking.

• Ability to troubleshoot basic registration failures and jitter.

• Awareness of VoIP concepts including SIP.

• Basic understanding of Linux permission management, system monitoring.

• Familiarity with system analysis.

• Awareness of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP addressing, DNS, and routing.

• Basic knowledge of virtualization concepts, including CPU, memory, storage and snapshot management.

• Exposure to Docker and Containerization, including images, containers, Dockerfiles, and registries.

• Basic knowledge of Python/Shell/Bash scripting.

• Ability to follow SOPs, ticketing systems, incident management.

• Ability to operate in a production environment, document work, collaborate.

Deputy Assistant Director (Network Engineer-Core)
Age (Max): 30 Years
Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science/Information Technology/Telecom Engineering/Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field from a recognized university (HEC). (Degrees must be attested by HEC).
Professional Experience: 0-1 year of relevant experience will be preferred.
Responsibilities, Skills and Competencies:

• Operate P2P Fiber, DCN, and 30/40 connectivity links nationwide.

• Coordinate with ISPs for troubleshooting and link optimization including ISP technologies.

• Maintain network inventory, topology diagrams, and documentation.

• Ensure testing, acceptance, and handover of network links.

• Monitor network performance and availability through NMS.

• Understanding of various technologies including DCN, CAN, Metro.

• Understanding of SDN operations management.

• Understanding of SD-WAN technology and its operations.

Deputy Assistant Director (System Administrator)
Age (Max): 30 Years
Minimum 16 years education in Computer Science/Information Technology/Software Engineering or equivalent in a related field from an HEC recognized university (Degrees must be attested by HEC).
Professional Experience: 0-1 year of relevant experience.
Responsibilities, Skills and Competencies:

• Monitor Data Center infrastructure status by using relevant tools, dashboards.

• Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalation as required.

• Execute routine verification, job checks, and system health monitoring.

• Working knowledge of Windows Server, Virtualization, basic networking, or Information Security concepts.

• Experience in administration.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Candidates will be recruited on a contract basis for an initial period of one year, extendable if required.

2. Preference will be given to candidates from Gilgit-Baltistan.

3. NADRA reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.

4. If a candidate provides false information, they will be disqualified.

5. Candidates may be required to work in any department as per requirement.

6. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview.

7. Candidates serving in government/semi-government organizations must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview.

8. Educational degrees must be verified from HEC recognized institutions.

9. Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide a medical fitness certificate and character verification.

10. If a selected candidate refuses to accept the offer, the position may be offered to the next candidate on the merit list.

11. No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.

12. During the interview, the use of electronic devices (mobile phones, calculators, smart watches) will not be allowed.
