WE ARE HIRING

Under the provisions of Regulation 9, 10, and 11 of the NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations, 2002, NADRA invites applications from highly skilled and experienced professionals for the following position.


POSITION OVERVIEW

 
Position Title Deputy Assistant Director (Technical)
Job Location Quetta Region (Barkhan, Sibbi, Zhob, Chaghi, & Pishin)
Maximum Age 30 Years (5 years' relaxation already included)
Employment Type Contract basis with 6-month probation period (extendable if required)

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

  • Minimum Qualification:
    Bachelor's (4 Years) degree in one of the following disciplines from an HEC-recognized university:

    • Computer Sciences

    • Information Technology

    • Software Engineering

    • or an equivalent field in a related discipline

  • Degree Attestation: Degrees must be attested by HEC and submitted at the time of interview.

  • Preference: Master's degree will be preferred.


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Experience:
    At least 1 year of post-qualification experience in:

    • Operations of IT Infrastructure

    • Communication and Networks

  • Preferred Certifications (added advantage):

    • CCNA

    • Cyber Security

    • Active Directory


SKILLS & COMPETENCIES (Detailed Job Responsibilities)

The incumbent will be responsible for the following technical and administrative duties:

System Administration & Maintenance

  • Administer and maintain server and client machines to ensure optimal performance.

  • Perform patch management and regular system updates.

  • Conduct performance tuning, system monitoring, and log analysis to proactively identify and resolve issues.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Troubleshoot web-based applications, software, hardware, and peripheral devices to ensure minimal downtime.

  • Provide technical support to end users, including issues related to login, authentication, and access.

  • Deliver 24/7 technical support and ensure timely resolution of IT-related incidents.

Network & Infrastructure Management

  • Conduct LAN connectivity troubleshooting, including cabling issues and switch port configuration.

  • Configure and support routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs, and VPN technologies and protocols.

  • Administer and support core network and directory services, including DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.

Security & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with endpoint security standards, information security policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

  • Manage and ensure timely updates of antivirus definitions across all client and server systems.

  • Support compliance audits by preparing documentation and providing required audit evidence.

Incident & Documentation Management

  • Monitor, document, and maintain incident logs.

  • Coordinate with back-end support teams for issue resolution.

  • Follow incident reporting, escalation, and resolution procedures as per defined SLAs.

Procurement & Evaluation Support

  • Perform pre-deployment readiness checks covering network security, endpoint protection, and business applications.

  • Participate in the technical evaluation of tenders, providing inputs on infrastructure security and technology suitability.

Software & Platform Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain applications, operating systems, and network components across multiple platforms.


GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

 
# Condition
1 Selected candidates will be hired on a contract basis, with a 6-month probation period (extendable if required).
2 Management reserves the right to withhold/cancel the recruitment process and to accept/reject any application at any stage without assigning any reason.
3 Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
4 Candidates shall be disqualified if false information is provided.
5 Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide/attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of application submission.
6 5 years' relaxation in age is already included in the above-mentioned age limit.
7 Selected candidates shall provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
8 No TA/DA will be admissible for test/interview.
9 Attested degrees from HEC/relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of interview.
10 Females, Minorities, Transgenders, and Differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply.
11 Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, smart watches, etc. will not be allowed during test and interview.
