VACANCIES ANNOUNCEMENT

Applications are invited from eligible candidates holding domicile of Sindh Province for appointment in the Directorate General (Monitoring & Evaluation), School Education & Literacy Department, Government of Sindh, against the following vacant posts. Applications must be submitted within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this advertisement, in accordance with the prescribed qualifications and experience.

Details of Vacant Post

1. Data Entry Operator (BPS-12)

  • Number of Posts: 07

  • Age Limit:

    • Minimum: 21 years

    • Maximum: 28 years

Educational Qualification

  • Graduation (at least Second Division) in Computer Science from a recognized university, OR

  • Graduation (at least Second Division) from a recognized university along with a Diploma in Computer Science from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education

Application Procedure & Conditions

  1. Eligible candidates who meet the above criteria must apply for the advertised post through the Government of Sindh Job Portal:

  2. Applicants must have successfully passed the Graduation Category General Screening Test conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) with a minimum score of 40%, and must possess a valid STS-issued certificate, as required for appointment against the advertised post.

  3. The age of candidates shall be calculated as of the closing date of application submission, in accordance with Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024 – Rule 7.

    • Upper age relaxation shall be applicable as notified by the General Administration & Coordination Department, Government of Sindh, vide Notification No. SOII (SGA&CD) 564/2011 (Part-I) dated 06-03-2025.

  4. Quota reserved for initial appointment shall be observed strictly in accordance with the laws, rules, regulations, and policies of the Government of Sindh.

  5. Candidates already in Government Service must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department before applying and shall produce the original NOC at the time of interview before the Departmental Selection Committee.

  6. Appointment shall be made in accordance with the Recruitment Policy notified by the Government of Sindh on 26-04-2023, and under the provisions of the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, along with rules amended from time to time.

  7. Candidates must appear before the Departmental Selection Committee for interview with original documents, as per the schedule uploaded on the Sindh Job Portal.

  8. No TA/DA shall be admissible for appearing in the interview.
