SENIOR PROFESSIONALS REQUIRED

Our client, Kot Addu Power Company Limited (KAPCO)—a publicly listed company operating a 1600 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant in District Kot Addu, Punjab (with 500 MW currently operational)—is seeking to hire high-caliber senior professionals to strengthen its core management team. These appointments aim to support the company’s evolving business challenges and strategic growth initiatives.

Applications are invited for the following senior management positions:

1. Company Secretary

Location: Corporate Office, Lahore

Position Profile

The Company Secretary will be responsible for ensuring robust corporate governance and full compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements applicable to a publicly listed company.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Organizing Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and General Meetings

  • Managing legal, regulatory, and corporate affairs

  • Overseeing contract reviews, documentation, and negotiations

  • Maintaining and updating statutory records

  • Assisting the Board in governance, compliance, and reporting matters

Eligibility Criteria

The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Member of a recognized professional body of Corporate/Chartered Secretaries or Accountants
    OR

  • Holder of a Law degree, MBA, or M.Com (HEC recognized)

  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including 5 years as a Company Secretary in a listed company

  • Strong command over corporate governance frameworks, company law, and regulatory compliance

  • Minimum age: 40 years

2. Head of Internal Audit

Location: KAPCO Plant

Position Profile

The Head of Internal Audit will lead the entire internal audit function to ensure its alignment with the company’s objectives, internal controls, and professional auditing standards.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing the Internal Audit Strategy and Annual Audit Plans

  • Conducting risk assessments and strengthening internal controls

  • Reporting directly to the Board Audit Committee

  • Coordinating with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders

  • Leading, supervising, and mentoring the internal audit team

Eligibility Criteria

The ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:

  • Qualification such as CA, ACCA, CIA, or an equivalent certification from a recognized professional body

  • Minimum 15 years post-qualification experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role in Internal Audit or Risk Management within a listed or regulated organization

  • Preferred experience in the energy, power, or infrastructure sector

  • Strong understanding of internal auditing, compliance, financial controls, and risk management frameworks

  • Minimum age: 40 years
