Organization Overview:
The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) is a state-owned enterprise (SOE) responsible for operating a power distribution network and supplying electricity to over 6.88 million consumers across Lahore, Okara, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana.
LESCO is seeking qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Chief Supply Chain Management Officer (CSCMO) to strategically lead and direct the Supply Chain Management function across the organization.
Chief Supply Chain Management Officer (CSCMO)
Develop LESCO’s supply chain strategy in alignment with the organizational vision, CEO direction, and Board Committee guidance.
Lead and manage the procurement team to ensure compliance with PPRA rules and LESCO procurement practices.
Oversee procurement of equipment, supplies, and services essential for LESCO’s operations.
Manage inventory control and logistics teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective distribution across departments.
Ensure effective utilization of LESCO’s ERP system for supply chain optimization.
Coordinate with department heads to maximize supply chain and procurement effectiveness.
Periodically update the supply chain framework to align with internal business needs and external macroeconomic conditions.
Master’s degree in Management Sciences (MBA/MS), preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related fields from an HEC-recognized local/foreign university.
Professional certifications or courses in supply chain management from reputed national/international institutions are an advantage.
Minimum 15 years of relevant post-qualification experience, including 5 years in a senior-level position in a large-scale private or government organization.
Proven experience in procurement of large inventories for operational purposes.
Competitive market-based salary, commensurate with qualifications and experience, determined by the Board of Directors.
Initial contract: 3 years, extendable based on satisfactory performance.
Annual performance evaluation against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by the Board of Directors.
Age Limit: Up to 57 years at the closing date of advertisement.
