POSITION DETAILS

 
Position Title Chief Internal Auditor

SCOPE OF WORK / KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 
S.# Responsibility Area
1 Manage all affairs of the Internal Audit Department.
2 Develop the operational framework and procedures for an effective internal auditing system.
3 Develop yearly internal audit plans for all key activities and ensure compliance with statutory obligations and requirements of various applicable laws.
4 Analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes and system controls to improve and propose recommendations.
5 Must have strong knowledge of public sector financial regulation, compliance, and reporting requirements.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

 
Criteria Requirement
Professional Qualification Must be a member of a recognized body of professional accountants with qualification of CA / FCMA from a reputed local or international University/Institute.
Experience Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 05 years of relevant experience in:
• Auditing and risk management
• Designing internal control procedures
• Effective compliance of financial reliability in public/private sector
• Understanding of governance, risks, and risk controls
Preference Experience in SOEs (State-Owned Enterprises) will be preferred.
Nationality Only Pakistani nationals are eligible to apply, including dual nationals who also hold Pakistani nationality.

AGE LIMIT

 
Age Requirement Maximum 55 years on the closing date of application.
