Position Title

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the Role

The Chief Financial Officer will:

  • Provide strategic financial advice to the Board of Directors and Management.

  • Ensure the fiscal health and sustainable growth of the organization.

  • Maintain an effective system of internal financial controls.

  • Oversee financial planning, costing, taxation, budgeting, and financial projections.

  • Support and implement best corporate financial and accounting systems.

  • Identify and mitigate key financial risks.

  • Raise additional capital when required to align with NESPAK’s strategic objectives.

  • Ensure compliance with public sector financial regulations and reporting requirements.

The candidate must possess strong expertise in public sector financial regulation, compliance frameworks, and corporate governance standards.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must meet one of the following requirements:

  • Be a member of a recognized professional accounting body with at least 5 years of relevant experience in State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) or corporate sector organizations having total assets of PKR 5 billion or more;

OR

  • Hold a Master’s degree in finance-related disciplines from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), with at least 10 years of relevant experience in SOEs or corporate sector organizations.

Nationality Requirement

  • Only Pakistani nationals are eligible to apply, including dual nationals holding Pakistani nationality.

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 55 years (as of the closing date of application).

Remuneration

  • Competitive lump-sum salary package of up to PKR 1.8 million per month, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Tenure

  • The selected candidate will be appointed on a contract basis for an initial period of 3 years, extendable based on company requirements and performance.
