CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Chief Financial Officer / Director Finance

Power Information Technology Company (PITC), a public sector State-Owned Enterprise, is inviting applications from highly qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Chief Financial Officer / Director Finance.

?? Location: WAPDA House, Lahore
?? Organization Role: PITC provides IT services and technology solutions to Pakistan’s power sector, including DISCOs, GENCOs, and NTDC, and plays a key role in digital transformation initiatives.

Job Profile

The Chief Financial Officer / Director Finance will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will be responsible for:

  • Financial planning and budgeting
  • Financial reporting and analysis
  • Internal financial controls
  • Treasury management
  • Ensuring compliance with corporate governance and regulatory frameworks

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Qualification

  • Member of a recognized professional accounting body:
    CA / CPA / ACCA / ACMA
    OR
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
    • From an HEC-recognized institution
    • Minimum First Division throughout academic career

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in:
    • Finance
    • Accounting
    • Financial management
    • Auditing
  • Including at least 3 years in a senior financial management role in a medium to large private sector organization

For Public Sector / SOEs

  • Professional accountant with minimum 5 years relevant experience (for SOEs with assets = PKR 5 billion)
    OR
  • Master’s degree holder with minimum 10 years relevant experience

Required Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Financial management
    • Corporate governance
    • Budgeting and reporting
    • Internal controls
    • Regulatory compliance

Terms & Conditions

  • ?? Contract Duration: 3 years (extendable based on performance and requirement)
  • ?? Maximum Age Limit: 55 years (on closing date)
  • ?? Compensation: Competitive, market-based salary package
  • ?? Candidate may be required to serve anywhere in Pakistan
