CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Pakistan Steel, a large industrial organization comprising multiple departments and complexes, invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Position Overview

The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for the overall management, control, and supervision of the organization’s financial activities, including financial strategy, planning, corporate affairs, risk management, internal controls, and compliance with applicable financial laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Member of a recognized professional accounting body

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish financial strategies, plans, and cash flow forecasts to support the company’s strategic objectives

  • Determine funding requirements and ensure effective financial resource management

  • Exercise direct control and coordination over the organization’s financial and budgeting activities

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage financial risks and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures

  • Conduct financial analysis, assess trends, interpret financial data, and report findings to senior management

  • Ensure the establishment and maintenance of effective accounting, financial, and budgetary controls to safeguard company assets

  • Ensure full compliance with legal, statutory, regulatory, and financial requirements

General Terms & Conditions

  • Maximum age limit: 58 years

  • Appointment will be made initially on a one-year contract basis, extendable with mutual consent

  • Market-based competitive remuneration and benefits will be offered

  • Any attempt to use extraneous influence during the selection process will result in immediate disqualification

  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview

  • No TA/DA will be admissible for the interview
