The Sindh Health Services is seeking qualified, high-caliber professionals to join the executive team at the Sindh Integrated Emergency & Health Services (SIEHS). We are looking for individuals committed to making a tangible difference in healthcare services across the province.
Role Overview The CFO is a pivotal executive leader responsible for driving financial strategy, ensuring long-term sustainability, and providing strategic counsel to the Board of Directors and the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement financial strategies for sustainable growth and resource optimization.
Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, accounting, and reporting in strict compliance with SECP guidelines and internal policies.
Risk & Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors for tax and audit returns; manage risk assessment and process improvements.
Data-Driven Insights: Conduct financial modeling and data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
Option A: Member of a recognized body of professional accountants (CA, ACMA, etc.) with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Option B: Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Commerce with at least 10 years of relevant experience in the public or development sector at a senior level.
Technical Skills: Deep expertise in IAS & IFRS standards and SECP regulations for public sector companies.
Role Overview Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the Company Secretary ensures robust corporate governance, acts as a legal guide, and maintains statutory compliance for all SIEHS operations.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Compliance: Ensure adherence to the Companies Ordinance 1984 and Companies Act 2017.
Governance: Maintain accurate records and facilitate smooth board proceedings and corporate governance.
Legal Liaison: Provide guidance on company policies and act as the primary point of contact for regulators, auditors, and the SECP.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Member of a recognized body of professional accountants or corporate/chartered secretaries OR a Master’s degree in Business/Commerce or a Law degree.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the public or development sector.
Attributes: Strong leadership, negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships under tight deadlines.
Age Limit: Minimum 32 years (for both positions).
Location: SIEHS Head Office, Karachi.
