Appointment of Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Pakistan Railway Advisory & Consultancy Services (PRACS) is a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) established in 1976 under the Ministry of Railways. Since its inception, PRACS has been providing consultancy services in the railway and infrastructure sectors.

With the enactment of the SOEs Act and SOEs Policy-2023, PRACS is undergoing a comprehensive revamping and restructuring process to enhance profitability and sustainability. In this regard, PRACS is seeking a dynamic and self-driven leader to serve as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership and management skills to develop PRACS' core business and transform it into a financially stable organization within three years.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum Master’s degree in Engineering, Business & Public Administration, Project Management, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Marketing, or an equivalent qualification from a well-reputed institution recognized by HEC.

  • Candidates with professional qualifications relevant to PRACS' core business will be preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 20 years of demonstrated experience in the relevant field.

  • Minimum 10 years of accumulated experience at a Senior Management Level, Project Director, CEO, Board Member, or Head of Department in similar organizations.

Appointment Terms & Application Process

  1. The appointment will be on a contract basis for an initial period of three (03) years, further extendable as per SOEs Act and SOEs Policy-2023, subject to satisfactory performance based on defined KPIs and mutual consent of both parties.

  2. Interested candidates must submit their applications using the prescribed format/proforma, available on the PRACS website (www.pracsltd.com).

  3. Applications should include:

    • A complete CV

    • A scanned passport-size photograph

    • The application must be emailed to sec@pracsitd.com no later than 15th April 2025 (Tuesday) at 03:00 PM.

  4. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
