MEPCO is one of the biggest Distribution Companies of Electricity in the Public Sector serving more than 7 million consumers having 17000+ employees with annual revenue base of nearly Rs. 400 Billion and consisting of operational area covering 13 districts of Punjab. The Charter of MEPCO is to provide reliable and safe electric power supply to its consumers in its jurisdiction.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER:

The services of dynamic and high calibre professional candidate (male / female) from all over Pakistan is required for the post of "Chief Executive Officer" and the applicant is willing to work as Head of the Company as per the terms and conditions given here under: -

1. The Candidate must possess at least 20 years of experience including at least 10 year working in Power Sector, with at least 3 years experience at senior management positions; (if the applicant possesses experience of working in the Public Sector or Public Sector Company, his experience in a position of BS-20 or equivalent to BS-20 whether on substantive basis or an additional charge or acting charge or look after basis or upgraded to BS-20, shall qualify as Senior Management Experience.)
2. Candidate must possess a bachelor degree in Engineering with a master degree in Engineering or Business Administration/Public Administration or Management or Economics or Finance.
3. Salary and allowances will be equivalent to MP-I Scale (at the initial stage) on contract basis which shall not be governed by MP Scale policy.
4. The serving employee will have to resign from his original job (if selected).
5. The service contract shall be for a period of three (3) years based on annual performance evaluation by MEPCO Board of Directors.
6. The applicant must fill in the Form and Declaration available at MEPCO Web Site www.mepco.com.pk.
7. Applicants shall submit printed copy of the application submitted through courier service along with the following documents:
   • Detailed CV, 4 Passport size photographs, Copy of CNIC.
   • Declaration on Non Judicial stamp paper of requisite value, as per specimen available on the MEPCO Website.
   • Copies of Degrees/Testimonials preferably verified by the Higher Education Commission or the professional body or association whichever is relevant. However, verification process will be carried out for the selected candidates.
   • All pages of the application shall be numbered and signed by the applicant.
