Punjab Energy Holding Company (PVT) Ltd. (PEHCL) – Job Vacancies

The Energy Department of the Government of the Punjab is seeking applications for high-level leadership roles within Punjab Energy Holding Company (PVT) Ltd. (PEHCL). PEHCL is a public sector company focused on upstream oil and gas exploration and production.

1. Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The CEO will be responsible for implementing strategic goals, overseeing daily operations, and providing leadership within the oil and gas sector.

  • Qualification: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Energy, Petroleum Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, or an equivalent HEC-recognized degree. An additional MBA or degree in business administration is a plus.

  • Experience:

    • Minimum 15 years of work experience in a large public or private oil and gas company.

    • Must include 5 years in a strategic leadership role (CEO/MD or senior management).

  • Age Limit: Maximum 62 years.

  • Remuneration: Market-based compensation package.

2. Company Secretary (CS)

The Company Secretary ensures that board procedures are followed and that the company remains compliant with all legal and regulatory frameworks.

  • Qualification: (Must meet one of the following)

    1. Member of a recognized body of Professional Accountants.

    2. Member of a recognized body of Corporate or Chartered Secretaries.

    3. Master’s degree in Business Administration/Commerce or a Law Graduate (HEC recognized).

  • Experience: At least 8 years of total work experience, including 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.

  • Remuneration: Market-based compensation package.
