Faisalabad Garment City Company, Faisalabad, is a Public Sector Company / an Autonomous body under the Commerce Division, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad, and registered under Section 42 of Companies Act 2017. Its Board of Directors is the competent forum to exercise its administrative and financial powers under the above said Act. The mandate of the Company (FGCC) is to boost up exports of garment made-ups from Pakistan and to support garment manufacturers / exporters through training of skilled work force and infrastructure.

The Company is looking for Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will work under the supervision of Board of Directors and will report to Chairman of the Board of Directors. The position requires an inspirational individual with an outstanding record of having led and shaped strategy in a challenging environment. The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for overall management of all the affairs of the Company as defined.

Job Title Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Qualification Bachelor's and/or Masters' Degree (minimum 16 years of education) from a reputable university recognized or accredited by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in disciplines including Engineering, Management, Textiles, Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, Business Administration (Finance), Public Administration or Chartered Accountancy or any other field commensurate to the job. Higher qualification will be given preference, OR II. Be a recognized businessman or professional with a postgraduate degree in business administration or public administration or finance or commerce or marketing or equivalent. Note:- The Degree awarding Universities / Institutes should be recognized by HEC Pakistan.
Experience Candidate must possess proven experience of not less than ten (10) years:-I. in governance or business administration or public administration or finance or commerce or marketing or any other field commensurate to the job in significant organizations with a commercial orientation, OR H. as chief executive or at a senior management level in similar organizations that have commercial attributes, OR III. at senior positions in relevant professional areas including, inter-alia, science, technology, finance, law, business, agriculture, social sciences, etc., OR IV. in community or professional organizations; OR V. at the level of member of governing body of a professional institute or as a head of department / Public Sector Company.
Terms & Conditions of service / Pay Package Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will be appointed on contract basis for a period of three (03) years and will be entitled lump sum per month salary (all inclusive) equal to MP-III scale Officer working in the Federal Government.

  • The candidate shall be appointed in accordance with the Public Sector Companies (Appointment of Chief Executive Officer) Guidelines, 2015 and Public Sector Companies (Corporate Governance) Rules, 2013 and must fulfil Fit and Proper Criteria as laid down in the Guidelines.
