VACANCIES ANNOUNCED

Applications are invited from eligible candidates holding domicile of Sindh Province for appointment against the following vacant posts in the Directorate of Youth Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sindh, within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this advertisement. Appointments shall be made according to the prescribed educational qualifications, experience, and eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification, Experience & Other Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (at least Second Division) or equivalent from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

  2. Six (06) months English Shorthand and Typing Certificate from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).

  3. Minimum typing speed of 80 words per minute in English Shorthand and 35 words per minute in English typing on computer.

  4. MS Office Certificate from an institute recognized by the Sindh Board of Technical Education (SBTE).

Mandatory Test Requirement

  • Applicants must have passed the General Screening Test (Graduation Category) conducted by Sukkur IBA Testing Services (STS) with at least 40 marks.

  • Candidates must possess a valid STS certificate, as required for appointment to the advertised post.

Age Calculation & Relaxation

  • Age shall be calculated as of the closing date of submission of applications, in accordance with Rule 7 of the Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation in Upper Age Limit) Rules, 2024.

  • General age relaxation shall be applicable as per Government of Sindh policy.

Quota Policy

  • Recruitment shall be made against the allocated quota shares in accordance with the laws, rules, and policies of the Government of Sindh.

Government Employees

  • Candidates already serving in any government department must obtain a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective department before applying.

  • The original NOC must be produced at the time of interview before the Departmental Selection Committee.

Terms of Appointment

  • Appointments shall be made in accordance with the Sindh Civil Servants Act, 1973, and rules made thereunder, as amended from time to time.

  • Recruitment shall also be governed by relevant notifications dated 26.04.2023, 11.07.2023, and 21.11.2025, issued under policy reference SOV (SGA&CD) 8-27/2019 (BS-15) by the Government of Sindh.

Interview & Documents

  • Candidates shall appear before the Departmental Selection Committee for interview as per the schedule uploaded on the Sindh Job Portal.

  • Candidates must bring original documents at the time of interview.

TA / DA

  • No TA/DA shall be admissible for test or interview.
