Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training – Vacancy Announcement

1. Chair in Urdu and Pakistan Studies

Location: University of Jordan, Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan

Basic Eligibility:

  • Proficiency in Urdu and Pakistan Studies

  • Strong academic background and professional competence in the relevant field

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Chair at the University of Jordan

  • Conduct lectures, seminars, conferences, symposia, and workshops

  • Supervise academic programs as prescribed by the University of Jordan

Terms & Conditions:

  • Appointment will be made on a contract basis

  • Duration, benefits, and extension terms will be as per the University of Jordan’s policy

2. Principal – Daanish School, Kuri, Islamabad

Basic Eligibility:

  • Educational Qualification: Minimum Master’s degree (at least 2nd division) from an HEC-recognized institution

  • Experience: Minimum 17 years as a principal or senior faculty member, preferably in a reputable institution

  • Strong leadership, managerial, and administrative capabilities

  • In-depth knowledge of school administration, including faculty and student development

Responsibilities:

  • Manage key operational functions of the school

  • Oversee curriculum development, hiring of teachers, and ancillary duties

  • Ensure holistic grooming and personality development of faculty and students

  • Proficiency in English communication required

Number of Posts: 1 (Contract)
Contract Period: 2 years (extendable for a further 2 years based on performance)
Age Limit: Up to 63 years
Location: Daanish School, Kuri, Islamabad
Salary/Benefits: BPS-20 equivalent pay package with 1 extra basic pay per month
