The Competition Commission of Pakistan (CCP) is an independent quasi-regulatory and quasi-judicial body committed to promoting and preserving competition across all sectors of the economy. In line with its objectives, the Commission invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for the following positions:
Department: Cartel & Trade Abuses
Number of Positions: 2
Maximum Age Limit: 35 years
Minimum LLB or 16 years of education (Bachelor’s) in Economics, Finance, Econometrics, or related fields.
Preference will be given to candidates with Master’s or Ph.D. degrees.
Minimum 3 years of experience in law enforcement, legal analysis, or related areas.
Sound knowledge of Competition Law & Policy and regulatory frameworks is preferred.
Conduct legal and economic analysis of cartelization and trade abuse cases.
Assist in the initiation, planning, and execution of investigations into cartel and anti-competitive behavior.
Interpret and apply competition laws using economic principles.
Gather evidence and conduct market behavior investigations.
Collaborate with legal, research, and enforcement departments.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by senior management.

Department: Mergers & Acquisitions
Number of Positions: 2
Maximum Age Limit: 35 years
Minimum LLB or 16 years of education in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Accountancy.
Preference will be given to candidates with Master’s or Ph.D. degrees.
At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
Prior experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) or competition law will be considered an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, and report writing skills are essential.
Review and analyze M&A transactions in accordance with competition law.
Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessments.
Evaluate market structure and dominance concerns.
Prepare detailed case reports, briefs, and presentations.
Draft legal opinions and regulatory documents related to M&A cases.
Support enforcement actions and perform additional M&A-related tasks as required.
A competitive salary package will be offered based on qualifications, experience, and expertise.
Appointment will be made on a contract basis for two (2) years, extendable based on performance.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews. No TA/DA will be provided.
General age relaxation of 5 years is applicable as per government rules.
