Call for Research Proposals

PERIDOT Mobility Grant Programme – Phase XII

The Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan invites applications from faculty members of public and private universities for funding under the Pak-France PERIDOT Mobility Grant Programme.

Programme Overview

PERIDOT is the Franco-Pakistani Hubert Curien Partnership (PHC) programme. It aims to foster collaboration and scientific exchange between Pakistani and French researchers.

The programme is:

Implemented in Pakistan by: Higher Education Commission (HEC)

Implemented in France by:

Ministry of Foreign Affairs & International Development (MAEDI)

Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR)

The core objective of PERIDOT is to develop new scientific and technological cooperation between French and Pakistani higher education institutions (HEIs) and research laboratories through researcher mobility.

Priority Research Areas

Joint research proposals are invited in the following areas:

Health Sciences

Sustainable Energy, Agriculture & Food Security

Economics of Climate Change

Application Procedure

Deadline for Submission:
September 23, 2025 (by 16:00 hours Pakistan Standard Time)

Online Application Portal Opening Date:
June 23, 2025

Mandatory Requirement:
A joint application with a French faculty member must be submitted to Campus France prior to applying to HEC.
