Intermediate Category Screening Test for BPS-05 to BPS-15

The Government of Sindh is seeking to fill vacant posts in various departments. The recruitment will follow the guidelines for BPS-05 to BPS-15 positions, requiring a minimum qualification of Intermediate education as per the Recruitment Rules. The initial screening test will be conducted by SIBA Testing Services (STS), based on the criteria approved by the Provincial Cabinet on 24-12-2019.

KEY INFORMATION

  1. Cut-off Percentage for Passing the Test: 40%

  2. Validity of Test Results: 3 years

  3. Interviews: Will be conducted by the concerned Departmental Selection Committees, as per the Sindh Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1974.

  4. Test Locations: The test will be conducted at divisional headquarters.

AGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Age: 18 years

  • Maximum Age: 30 years (on the closing date for applications)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

  • Education: 12 years of education (Intermediate level) from any Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.

  1. Application Process:

    • Interested candidates with Sindh domicile can submit applications online at the STS portal: http://apply.sts.net.pk

    • Upload the following documents:

      • Last degree (minimum qualification mentioned above)

      • CNIC, Domicile, PRC-D, and recent photograph

      • For candidates with disabilities: CNIC with wheelchair logo issued by NADRA

  2. Application Fee:

    • A system-generated challan of Rs. 1500 must be paid.

    • Payment can be made at any ABL Bank Ltd. branch or via the MyABL app.

    • Alternatively, payments can be made using the 1Bill reference number through internet banking.

    Note: The application fee is non-refundable.

  3. False Information: Providing misleading or false information will result in the rejection of the application and may lead to termination if employed.

  4. Age Relaxation: General age relaxation will apply as per the Government of Sindh’s rules.

  5. Quotas: Reserved quotas for women, disabled persons, minorities, and transgender individuals will be followed as per Government of Sindh's rules.

  6. Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the tests.

  7. Eligibility for Re-appearing: Candidates who previously attempted the Intermediate Category test and wish to improve their marks are eligible to apply.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Test Updates: Date, time, and venue will be communicated through SMS. All updates related to the test, admit slips, and results will be available on the STS website/portal.
