Faculty Requirement – Associate Professors (BPS-20)

Submissions are invited from Pakistani nationals for appointment on a regular basis in the following disciplines:

Islamic Studies

Fisheries (Parasitology / Genetics specialization)

Veterinary Sciences

Online Application

Eligible Document Upload

Upload valid, authentic documents. Any ambiguous, fake, or forged documentation will result in rejection and potential legal action. Concealment of facts at any stage leads to disqualification.

Service Regulation

Appointments will follow the Contributory Provident Fund (CPF) policy of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Government or autonomous body employees currently holding a pensionable BPS post with previous eligibility for pension must apply through proper channels with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).

Service Rules

All appointments shall adhere to updated policies as issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad.

Degree Equivalency

Degrees not in English must be accompanied by verified English translations. Applicants with degrees from foreign boards must submit equivalency certificates from HEC or IBCC before the deadline.

Academic Documentation

Provide official percentage certificate from the Controller of Examinations if transcripts do not mention percentage marks. For GPA, a CGPA of 3.00–4.00 equals First Division.

Only experience backed by officially issued certificates from HR/Establishment is valid. Distinctions require official verification.

Publications

Attach full bibliographic details for each research paper (title, author, journal name, ISSN, volume, issue, date). Only HEC-recognized journals accepted. Incomplete citations will be rejected.

Research Projects

Submit valid award letters as Principal Investigator certified by competent authority.

Application Processing Fee: PKR?3,000 via e-challan (University Bank, Mardan; Account No. 00792005876772; IBAN: PK40KHYB0479062105876772). Upload challan copy on the job portal.

Dossier Evaluation Fee: PKR?6,600; to be paid only if shortlisted for evaluation by external experts (per statutes).

Document Uploads

Upload scanned copies of ALL: manuscripts, degrees, certificates, experience certificates, CNIC, research papers, publications, and passport-size photograph. Originals to be produced at interview.

Eligibility Determination

Eligibility is strictly assessed as of the advertisement closing date. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; no TA/DA provided.

Minimum Qualification & Experience

PhD from an HEC-recognized institution in the relevant discipline.

Minimum 5 years of teaching/research experience in HEC-recognized universities or postgraduate institutions.

Or 10 years of experience from national or international organizations.

Minimum 5 years post-PhD teaching/research experience.
