CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Project: PSDP Project – Karak
Location: Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Applications are invited from dynamic and qualified male/female candidates having domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) or Newly Merged Districts (NMDs) to fill the following project-based positions on a contract basis under the PSDP Project at Karak. Eligible candidates fulfilling the prescribed educational qualifications, experience, and age limits may apply as per the details below:

2 Lecturer – Drilling & Drilling Fluids (BPS-17) 01 35 years BS/BSc/BE in Drilling or Petroleum Engineering (16 years education from HEC recognized university) with 3 years of experience in teaching or work experience in the Oil & Gas sector/industry.
3 Lecturer – Chemical / Petro-Chemical (BPS-17) 01 35 years BS/BSc/BE in Chemical Engineering (16 years education from HEC recognized university) with 3 years of teaching or professional experience in Chemical/Drilling Fluids related subjects or relevant industry.
4 Assistant Director (Finance) (BPS-17) 01 35 years MBA (Finance) / ACCA / M.Com or equivalent (16 years education from HEC recognized university) with 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounts management.
5 Assistant Director (Development & Works) (BPS-17) 01 35 years BS/BSc/BE in Civil Engineering or equivalent (16 years education from HEC recognized university) with 3 years of experience in planning, design supervision, and monitoring of building/construction projects.
6 Assistant Director (Academic) (BPS-17) 01 35 years M.Sc / BS / BSc / BE in Geology or Petroleum Engineering (HEC recognized university) with 3 years of relevant experience in management of educational, technical, or polytechnic institutes.

Instructions & General Conditions

  1. Applicants must apply on the prescribed application form available at the institute’s official website: www.ipt.edu.pk

  2. The application must include a detailed bio-data, attested/verified copies of all DMCs, Degrees, Certificates, Experience Letters, Trainings/Certifications, Domicile, CNIC, and two recent passport-sized photographs.

  3. Foreign degree holders must submit an HEC Equivalency Certificate at the time of applying.

  4. Complete applications should reach the mailing address (given below) within 15 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.

    • Applications received after the due date, incomplete, or by hand will not be entertained.

  5. Employees of Government / Semi-Government departments must apply through proper channel.

  6. The maximum age will be calculated as on the closing date of the advertisement.

  7. Shortlisting will be conducted in accordance with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Project Implementation Policy, 2022.

    • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.

    • No TA/DA will be admissible.

  8. All positions are purely project-based and will be filled on merit. The appointment will be contractual for the duration of the PSDP Project at Karak.

  9. The competent authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.

  10. Appointments will be made in accordance with approved PC-1 / Project Policy (Salary & Perks) and availability of funds.

  11. A separate envelope must be used for each position, with the title of the post clearly written on the top right corner.

  12. Errors & Omissions, if any, shall be subject to correction by the institute.
