Introduction

Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited (LESCO), incorporated under the Companies Ordinance, 1984, is responsible for distributing and supplying electricity to over 1.88 million consumers. The company employs more than 18,000 staff members and covers the geographical areas of Lahore, Sheikhupura, Okara, and Nankana Districts.

Applications are invited from eligible and qualified candidates through M/s Open Testing Service (OTS) for the following positions. The appointments will be made on an open contract basis with a lump-sum pay package and an initial six-month probation period.

Instructions and General Conditions

1. Nature of Appointment:
   All positions are purely on open contract basis for a period defined by the organization, with a 6-month probation period. The contracts are non-pensionable, non-transferable, and not convertible to permanent employment.

2. Testing Fee:
   OTS will charge 50% of the test fee from the applicant; the remaining will be paid by LESCO. Each applicant must therefore pay Rs. 100/- to OTS (if a test is required).

3. Eligibility:
   Only those candidates who have completed their degrees are eligible. Applicants awaiting final results or result cards will not be considered. CGPA-based degrees will be evaluated according to the HEC standard conversion chart.

4. Government Employees:
   Candidates serving in Government, Semi-Government, Autonomous Bodies, or SOEs should apply through proper channel. An advance copy may be sent before obtaining the NOC, but the NOC must be produced at the time of interview.

5. Quota Policy:
   All applicable provincial and institutional quotas will be observed.

6. Professional Registration:
   Computing professionals with graduation in relevant fields must have valid registration with NCEAC (National Computing Education Accreditation Council).

7. Preference:
   Candidates with LESCO experience, relevant certifications, and institutional knowledge will be given preference.

8. Multiple Applications:
   Candidates applying for more than one post must submit separate applications for each position.

9. Written Test:
   Minimum passing marks in the written test will be 50%. Only shortlisted candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be invited for the test/interview. Passing the written test does not guarantee selection.

10. Posting:
    Selected candidates may be posted anywhere within LESCO’s jurisdiction as per organizational requirements.

11. Rights of the Organization:
    LESCO reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts or cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning any reason.

12. Disqualification:
    Candidates dismissed from service, screened out, or having a criminal record are not eligible. Background and police verification will be mandatory prior to selection.

13. False Information:
    Concealment or misrepresentation of facts will result in disqualification, termination of employment, and recovery of paid salary.

14. Queries & Complaints:
    Any recruitment-related query must be resolved directly with OTS within the prescribed time frame.

15. Legal Matters:
    Any litigation related to testing or shortlisting will be handled by OTS at its own cost, without any liability on LESCO.

16. TA/DA:
    No TA/DA (Travel Allowance / Daily Allowance) will be paid for appearing in the test or interview.

17. Incomplete Applications:
    Incomplete or late submissions will not be entertained. LESCO and OTS will not be responsible for delays in courier service.

How to Apply

2. Register online and fill out the application form carefully.

3. Pay the test fee of Rs. 80/- at any branch of Bank Alfalah, HBL, or ABL using the prescribed bank challan (downloadable from the OTS website).

4. Send the completed application form, attested copies of educational documents, domicile certificate, CNIC, experience certificates, two recent passport-size photographs, and original fee challan via courier or Pakistan Post to:

   Applications submitted by hand or received after the due date will not be accepted.

5. Candidates should regularly visit the OTS website for updates regarding roll numbers, test schedules, and results.
