Under the provisions of Regulations 9, 10, and 11 of the NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations 2002, the National Database and Registration Authority is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional for its headquarters in Islamabad.

Age Limit Maximum 37 Years (A 5-year general age relaxation is already included in this limit)

## Eligibility Criteria & Job Requirements

Educational Background

  • Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree (4 Years) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecom Engineering, Software Engineering, or an equivalent related field.

  • Verification: Degrees must be attested by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in network operations.

Skills & Competencies

  • Technical expertise in Layer 2/3 switches, Core Firewalls, WAF, switches, and IDS/IPS.

  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking abilities.

  • Availability for 24/7 technical support, including shift work and weekend coverage.

## Main Responsibilities

  • Operations & Troubleshooting: Manage daily routine operations and complex troubleshooting for core network elements.

  • Performance Optimization: Oversee network optimization tasks including bandwidth monitoring, QoS, infrastructure health checks, and SLA monitoring.

  • Maintenance & Incidents: Direct preventive maintenance, track incident management, and verify redundancy testing, backups, and data restorations.

  • Hardware Lifecycle: Supervise the implementation, commissioning, and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes for network hardware.

  • Physical Infrastructure: Enforce structural standards, including proper cabling and equipment mounting.

  • Information Security: Execute essential security tasks including data encryption and firewall configurations for all assigned network elements.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain thorough SOPs, IP schemes, engineering drawings, and technical manuals.

  • Coordination & Audits: Administer asset inventory, manage vendor SLAs, and coordinate with internal audit, HQ, and external teams.

## Terms & Conditions

  1. Probation: The selected candidate will undergo a 6-month probation period, extendable based on performance evaluation.

  2. Documents Required:

    • At Interview: Government/Semi-Government employees must present a valid No Objection Certificate (NOC).

    • At Joining: Provision of HEC-attested educational documents, a Medical Fitness Certificate, and a Character Certificate is mandatory.

  3. Disqualification: Any candidate who provides false or misleading information at any stage of the process will be automatically disqualified.

  4. Test/Interview Rules: Electronic gadgets (smartwatches, mobile phones, etc.) are strictly prohibited during testing. No TA/DA will be provided.
