Zymal Umar, the youngest social entrepreneur from Pakistan

Islamabad: A 9 years student has become the youngest entrepreneur of Pakistan as well as the founder of an inspirational social project named as Zee Bags.

According to the media sources, this project is an attempt that not only targets to assist the needy and poor but also the environment.

As per the reports:

"In a trial to clear the streets of her beautiful city Sargodha of plastic bags, Zymal Umar decided to start off making reusable bags by utilizing old newspapers."

While talking to media, she recalled a shopping trip along with her parents 3 years back that first planted the idea in her mind. Upset by the sight of plastic bags on the roads, she was taken over by feelings of distress as well as thoughts regarding the harmful effects of plastic pollution.

After that suddenly, her attention was caught by a storekeeper handing out newspaper bags to his consumers. Extremely inspired by this idea, the little girl decided to take action and to make a desired change.

Afterwards, Zymal has managed to sell large number of bags, use her profits to purchase necessary stuff for underprivileged children belonging to SOS village, and make charities to other openhanded foundations.

The nine years old student of Beacon House School System Sargodha; successfully succeeds in finding a balance between her goals to improve the poverty rate, save the environment and attain academic success. She says that in the future, together with chasing higher education, she also expects to inspire others and take her project to an international level.

Being the youngest social entrepreneur of Pakistan, she has been awarded along with TIE, the youngest entrepreneurship award and also received a gold medal for her work from the Federal Secretary of Education in Pakistan.

Her efforts have also been acknowledged in Saudi Arabia, where she was invited to receive the Prince Abdul Aziz Award for Children Pioneer / Ecopreneur, sources said.
