Responding to the explosive global demand for AI expertise , the University of London will launch a new BSc in Artificial Intelligence in 2026 . Developed in collaboration with Brunel University London, a leader in engineering, design, and technology education, the degree programme is crafted to equip students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to thrive in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
The degree will be made accessible to Pakistani students through the University’s established network of Recognized Teaching Centers (RTCs) across the nation. This model allows students to benefit from a world-leading UK curriculum while studying locally, significantly reducing the cost and logistical barriers associated with overseas education.
The BSc AI is designed to address urgent workforce demands across key sectors in Pakistan and globally, including healthcare, finance, education, and technology. Graduates will be poised to drive innovation and digital transformation within the country’s growing tech industry.
Complementing these broad initiatives, the University of London has also recently launched a specialised micro-credential course for its LLB (Bachelor of Laws) students in Pakistan . This online programme is the first of its kind from a foreign law provider, meticulously designed to prepare students for entry into the Pakistani Bar.
The flexible course, which can be studied alongside the core LLB degree, covers essential areas of Pakistani jurisprudence, including constitutional principles, civil and criminal codes of practice, the Pakistan Penal Code, and the law of evidence. Since its inception over 30 years ago , more than 16,000 Pakistani students have graduated from the university . Notably, nearly 8,000 of these hold law degrees, with alumni occupying prominent positions across the legal profession, civil service, business leadership, and public life.
Currently, the University supports over 7,000 active students in Pakistan , who study either independently or through a robust network of 17 Recognized Teaching Centers spread across 38 locations nationwide.
