University of health sciences has announced to extend its closure. According to the issued notification, the university and its constituent/affiliated colleges will remain closed till 18th April 2021. The students will not be allowed to take the physical classes due to the spread of the third wave of coronavirus pandemic however the students will take the online class as per the announced schedule to complete their syllabus. The decision has been taken according to the directives issued by the specialized medical and healthcare department Punjab.
University of health sciences has announced that the exams shall proceed according to the notified schedule so the candidates are required to prepare for the exams. The university officials further added that there will be no delay in the commencement of exams and the university will hold the written and practical examinations with the proper implementation of SOPs. The candidates are notified to wear masks and maintain social distance to contain the spread of COVID-19.
UHS Practical Exams
Due to the ongoing sit-ins of religious parties across the country the university has issued the statement and informed the students that the practical exams will be held according to the schedule in the areas not affected by the sit-ins. Currently, the practical exams held by the dental and medical colleges are underway but due to some uncertain circumstances, the exams could not be held in some examination centers. The UHS further added that the exams of these centers will be conducted as per the revised schedule. It has been clarified that the exams will not be postponed and to facilitate the students the university will announce the revised schedule for such candidates that could not appear in the exams. The new schedule will be notified soon to the students regarding the conduction of practical exams.
