Uniform Syllabus Across The Country To Be Taught In Urdu

The medium of instruction for the new same syllabus revealed by the federal government recently will be the national language i-e Urdu.

This statement was given by the Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood on Wednesday while addressing 3-days International Urdu Conference held by the National Language Promotion Department for the celebration of Independence Day. In the first day of conference three sessions were conducted.

Implementation of National Language in Uniform Curriculum

In the very first session, Shafqat Mahmood stressed upon the promotion as well as implementation of the national language. While addressing, he further added that the Urdu will be the main moderate of instruction for the innovative uniform syllabus which will be implemented from class one to class five in the academic session 2021.

All Province Will be Free in Matter of Using Major Language with Urdu

Though, the Federal Education Minister also clarified that the provinces will have the choice to utilize their major languages together with Urdu to train children, adding that this was coherent along with the provisions in the Constitution.

The federal education minister conveyed the hope that the conference will offer the government along with the latest and practical solutions for the promotion of Urdu language.
