UET Taxila starts undergraduate admissions 2013

Taxila, University of Engineering and Technology Taxila has started admissions in engineering programs. Applications are invited from the candidates for all the categories for admission in the 4 year undergraduate programs. The admissions are open in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Software Engineering.

Candidates are eligible if they have done FSc Pre Engineering or its equivalent education passed up to annual 2013 with minimum of 60% marks. FSc with Math, Physics, and Computer science as major subjects are eligible inly for admission to computer engineering, software engineering, telecommunication engineering and electronic engineering.

Candidates having 3 year post matric diploma (DAE) in relevant technology passed from the Punjab Board of Technical Education Lahore with 60% marks. They are ineligible to apply against open merit seats. Must have appeared in combined entry test 2013 at any center conducted by UET Lahore.

Prospectus including application forms can be obtained at a cost of Rs 1000 per copy on all the working days from Sep 16, 2013.

The admission forms for admission will be filled online at http://admissions.uettaxila.edu.pk. The print out of filled admission forms alongwith the documents as detailed in the prospectus will be submitted by hand only in the admission office, UET Taxila on all working days from 9am to 2pm. The admission forms can be submitted till Oct 03, 2013.

Incomplete admission forms will not be entertained and forms submitted via post or courier will not be accepted.
