University Of Engineering And Technology (UET), Lahore is no doubt one of the best engineering institutes of Pakistan. The students of this university have great potential and they can work efficiently under any kind of circumstances. The university gives great opportunity for its student to grow their skills and help them in different ways possible. Many societies are also working here. Workshops, seminars and conferences are also arranged for the student under each faculty. Here not only theoretical knowledge is given to the students but also labs are equipped with all kinds of latest machies and equipments to give the students the practical knowledge about their field also. University sends the students abroad for their higher students. Reasearch is highly appreciated here. Students participate in differents contests as well and university helps them with the funds they need. Top 5 students of each department are awarded with scholarships at the end of each semester.

Nothing is perfect in this world. Similarly the faculties which are at the top, like electrical, mechanical, civil etc are best in the country but there are few faculties which are not established properly but still they are trying their best to prove themself and making improvements. Its a government institute so the problem of funds from the govenment is always there.

UET, Lahore is an excellent university - don't get me wrong, it's tough, Really tough, but it's rewarding. If you are coming to this university STRICTLY for academics, then this is the place for you. UET, Lahore provides the atmosphere where its students can truly grow and learn, it does not merely turn out mindless drones which recycle information. Students are encouraged to do individual, original research and try new things. Faculty make an effort to make each student's experience at UET, Lahore one that is unique to that student.

Not all field here are excellent only few which are at the top are the best still others are also working hard to prove themselves and making improvements
