UET Taxila offering PhD fully funded scholarships for scholars

Taxila: University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila (UET) is offering fully funded PhD scholarships for full time PhD scholars. The students who meet the set criteria by the officials of university will be able to get these scholarships.

UET Is offering admissions in the following PhD disciplines and will also offered the scholarships to the candidates of following disciplines.

The disciplines are as follows:

1. Mechanical engineering

2. Engineering Management

3. Industrial Engineering

4. Civil Engineering

5. Electrical Engineering

6. Computer Engineering

7. Computer Science

8. Telecom Engineering

9. Software Engineering

Admission eligibility criteria:

The candidates who have completed their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the restive engineering discipline from a recognized university with miimum CGPA or with first division are eligible to apply for this program.

The interested candidates must qualify University Locally Developed test (sample is available at the official website of university) with at least 60 percent marks.

About Scholarships:

Scholarships of Rs 60,000/- monthly are available for the selected full time PhD candidates for 36 months from the date of enrollment.

The endowment fund scholarship scheme is also available for the above mentioned disciplines.

Forms Submission:

Candidates can submit their registration forms along with the required documents and with bank draft of Rs 1000/- (non-refundable) in favor of Treasure UET Taxila, payable at HBL UET Taxila, at the office of Dean of the concerned faculty according to the schedule which is given below:

Last date for submission of Application forms:

March 27^th, 2017

University locally developed test:

April 4^th, 2017 at 10:00am

Interview at 10:00 am:

April 10^th, 2017

Display of List for selected candidates:

April 17^th, 2017

Last date for Registration:

April 24^th, 2017

Important notes:

1. The prospectuses along with application forms can be downloaded from the official website of university i-e (www.uettaxila.edu.pk)

2. Candidates can also get application forms from the office of advance studies research & technological development and concerned dean, UET Taxila.

3. UET rules and regulations mentioned in prospectus are valid.

4. NOC is needed from the employer (where applicable)
