Quetta, Due to increasing number of students in Matric exams every year Balochistan education department decided to establish two new boards of intermediate and secondary education (BISE) at Zhob and Turbat districts during the current fiscal year.

100 million funds have been allotted for the establishment of two new boards of intermediate and secondary education in Balochistan province. There is only one Quetta Board is working and now due to increasing number of matric students every year in the province and this is becoming difficult to manage for the only Quetta board. It is also creates problem for the students to travel to Quetta just for submitting their admission forms. The establishment of two BISEs would be very helpful for the students, said the education department of Balochistan.

However, the formation of new BISEs which is their long-lasting demand would facilitate them significantly in pursuit of higher education.    Referring to the provincial government's others initiatives aimed at promoting education sector, they said 100 new primary schools would be made functional besides upgrading 50 primary schools to middle level during the current financial year.
