Islamabad: According to the press release issued on Wednesday, the Millennium University College (TMUC) H-11/4, Islamabad and the British Council have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for an IELTS university partnership and APTIS.

The chief executive of Millennium University College Chaudhry Faisal Mushtaq (TI) and the director of British Council Examinations Services Hasan Khattak signed the agreement at a local hotel in Islamabad.

Mentioning the activity as a milestone in his mission to promote languages in the country, Faisal Mushtaq said:

“This collaboration will permit the aspirants to take English proficiency tests at a subsidized cost whereas the British Council shall provide support in teachers’ training and workshops.”

He acknowledged the British Council in supporting TMUC to arm the Pakistani youth along with the skills that empower them to become prolific global residents.

While speaking on the event, Khattak said that the British Council had a proud history of supporting institutes of higher education (IHEs) in Pakistan by making opportunities for Pakistani IHEs to connect, share ideas as well as to associate along with the UK firms.

Furthermore, he emphasized on the importance of this partnership between The Millennium University College (TMUC) and the British Council, as it will assist in facilitating just not the aspirants of the university and faculty but also the local inhabitants.
