The Health Department Decides To Conduct Corona Tests In The Educational Institutes

The primary health department takes a big and important step to contain the spread of the coronavirus while reopening of educational institutes. According to the department, it has decided that daily 5000 corona tests will be taken from the schools, colleges, and universities. The work will be done in the government laboratories in three shifts.

A conference of primary health department has been held under the supervision of the department secretary, Captain Retired Muhammad Usman. During the conference, it has been decided that the test will be done under the guidance of COC. The corona test will be taken from the 986 provincial educational institutes.

What Strategy Will Be Followed

According to the details, the following strategy will be followed to cover the corona test campaigns from the educational institutes:

• Corona test sampling will be done from 383 educational institutes after fifteen days.
• Random coronavirus sampling will be done from 603 educational institutes   
• Over 5,000 sampling will be done daily along with contact tracing. 
• The extraordinary attention will be given to the more affected areas.
• In every 15 days, 49,000 samplings will take from category 1 districts.
• Category 2 and 3 are comprised of 15 and 13 districts respectively and 20,000 samples will be taken from these categories every 15 days.

Note: The proper training will be given to the teams that are specialized for the corona test in the educational institutes, said by the primary health department secretory.
