SZABMU Admissions Open in Public Medical and Dental Colleges for session 2022- 2023

As an admitting University, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University Islamabad is inviting interested candidates to apply for admissions 2022 -2023 to the first year MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) and BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) program. All candidates should apply for admission as soon as possible to avoid any problems or errors. You can also talk to the college/university about your issues with admissions, which cannot be done in the last few days of admissions. The Last date to submit online application for MBBS and BDS programs at public Medical and Dental institutes is 15th December 2022.

SZABMU is accepting applications for admissions in the following public sector Medical and Dental institutes:

Eligibility Criteria:

• FSc Pre-Medical/ inter or equivalent qualification with minimum 60% Marks from a recognized institute.

• Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2022, passed with at least 55% Marks for MBBS and 45% Marks for BDS.

• Repeating applicants who have already passed the MDCAT in 2021 with 65% Marks can apply for admission to MBBS and BDS for the academic year 2022 – 2023.

How to Apply for Admission:

• The candidates are required to visit the SZABMU Website and click on the link “Admissions in Public Sector Medical & Dental Colleges”

• The applications must be submitted online. Hardcopy or paper based applications are not acceptable. Only complete online applications will be entertained. If a candidate submits a forged or fake document, their admission will be canceled and they will not be allowed to apply to any medical or dental school in the future. 

• Register yourself at the web portal with help of your CNIC/Passport number, Email ID and set up a password for your portal.  

• After registration, candidates have to fill the admission form and select their desired program and institute.

• Submit the scanned copies of required documents. 

• Generate the application processing fee challan (separate for MBBS and BDS) and submit the non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 3000/- at the nearest branch of HBL Bank Ltd.

• Application must be submitted separately for the MBBS and BDS. If a candidate wants to apply in more than one quota, he or she have to submit separate forms and application processing fee.
