Sindh To Conduct the Matric and Intermediate Annual Exams 2021 in May-June

Sindh government has announced to conduct the annual exams 2021 of matric and intermediate in May-June. The meeting of the education department's steering committee was held in which the officials made important decisions regarding the commencement of board exams. According to the Sindh education and literacy department, the SCC part-I and II and HSSC part-I and II exams will be held from 20th May 2021 and 10th June 2021 respectively. The committee has approved various recommendations to hold the annual exams. As per the decision of the inter-board committee of chairmen, the old paper pattern will be followed in the exams. After the reopening of the schools and colleges according to the directives issued by the education minister, the students have to complete the practical work. Moreover, all the educational boards are directed to develop the model papers by considering the smart syllabus. Earlier the Punjab government had also announced to hold the annual exams of matric and intermediate in the month of May/June. 

Implementation of SOPs

To conduct the annual exams the instructions will be issued to all the internal superintendents of the examination centers to ensure the strict implementation of SOPs during the exams as announced by the respective government. Furthermore, the district administration will also be involved to main the law and order and to guarantee the safety of the students and invigilation staff at the examination centers. 

Result Announcement 

According to the IBCC, all the boards are allowed to develop their assessment strategy considering the feasibility according to the ongoing situation of COVID-19. After the completion of the annual exams of SSC and HSSC, the result will be announced for the students within three months. It has been stated that the board will provide timely results to the students so that they can continue the next academic session without any delay. The meeting of the education department's steering committee will be again held on 23rd January 2021 to declare the final decisions regarding the schedule of the matric and intermediate annual exams 2021.
