Karachi: The government of Sindh has allocated 50 million Rs in its budget of 2017-18 to install free Wi-Fi at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Park in Clifton, Karachi.
Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Sindh Sikandar Shoro told a delegation on Wednesday that the Wi-Fi service will be available soon and the move was the part of the first stage to provide the advanced technology to the residents of Karachi free of cost.

“The government is taking steps to overhaul the Information technology zone to bring it up to the advance level,” he said.
He said in the next stage, the Information Technology department will extend this facility to the other parts of the city and also across Sindh.
Furthermore, Rs40.51 million will be allocated for establishing research incubator machines in state-run varsities in an effort to facilitate the aspirants.

In its nascent stage, a research incubator along with the modern machines will be established in a government sector university in Jamshoro.
