The Sindh government has reopened the educational institutes for students of class 9 and above. The announcement has been made by the Sindh education minister, Saeed Ghani. According to the announcement the academic activities have been resumed from today, 7th June 2021. The decision has been taken by considering the situation of the coronavirus pandemic and the currently the positivity ratio is quite lower due to which the government has declared to reopen the school, colleges, and universities so that the students can continue to study. Earlier after the meeting of the national command and operation center, it had been decided to shut down the educational institutes due to the rapid increase in the number of coronavirus cases.
Guidelines For Students
It has been announced that the students will attend the classes on alternate days with 50% attendance. The students are instructed to follow the SOPs devised by the government in order to be protected from the deadly virus. Moreover, the students have to wear the mask and maintain the social distance while attending the physical classes. The government will continuously monitor the implementation of SOPs in all the educational institutes for the safety of the students and teachers.
Instructions by Government
The Sindh government has instructed all the staff members of the educational institutes to get vaccinated in order to minimize the spread of the COVID-19. So the teachers, as well as the administrative staff members, are required to follow the instructions issued by the government. As per the notification issued by the Punjab government, the classes have been resumed for the students from 7th June 2021 in all the districts of Punjab. The public and the private schools will take the physical classes according to the instructions provided by the concerned authorities.
