The Sindh government has announced to hold the practical exams for matric and intermediate. There are various Sindh educational boards such as Karachi board, BISE Sukkur, BISE Hyderabad, BISE Larkana, BISE Mirpurkhas, and BISE Agha khan that conducts the annual exams of matric and intermediate for the candidates. After the commencement of theory exams, the board authorities hold the practical exams to evaluate the performance of the students so that they can be promoted to the next class. This year the annual exams got delayed due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic. Earlier the meeting of the Sindh steering committee was held in which the Sindh education minister, Saeed Ghani had announced the decision regarding the commencement of SSC and HSSC exams.
Exams Of Elective Subjects
According to the education minister this year, the exams will be held for only elective subjects. The exams of matric will be conducted in July and the annual exams of intermediate will be commenced in August. Moreover, it has been announced that the result of the SSC and HSSC exams will be announced within 45 days of the commencement of exams. The minister ensured that the result will be provided to the students at the appropriate time so that the candidates can take admission to the colleges/universities.
After the conduction of the theory exams, the practical exams will be commenced according to the schedule issued by the board authorities. It has been decided in the meeting that the students will give the practical exams in their respective schools/colleges. Moreover, the candidates who failed in the elective subjects will be provided the passing marks and the marks of the compulsory subjects will be awarded to the students on the basis of marks obtained in the exams of elective subjects.
