The Sindh education department has announced the dates for matric and intermediate annual exams 2021. In this regard, the notification has been issued by the Sindh government to inform the students. According to the announcement made by the concerned authorities the annual exams of class 12th will be commenced from 26th July 2021 and the annual exams of class 10th will be held from 5th July 2021. Moreover, it has also been notified to the students that the exams for class 11th will take place after the conduction of the exams for the 12th class.
Exams Of Elective Subjects
The interprovincial ministers conference was held earlier in which it had been decided to hold the exams of elective subjects only for the academic session 2021. The education ministers had taken this decision by considering the situation of the coronavirus pandemic as the syllabus of the various subjects could not be completed. The candidates of matric have to appear in the exams of elective subjects and mathematics whereas the students of intermediate will take the examinations for the elective subjects according to their study group. Furthermore, the candidates are informed that the practical exams will not be conducted and the marks of these exams will be awarded to the students on the basis of their performance in the theory exams.
Instructions About Exams
The Sindh education minister, Saeed Ghani has provided important guidelines to the students regarding the exam so that they can prepare accordingly. As per the statement issued by the education minister, the exams will be based on the smart syllabus and the duration of each paper will be 2 hours. The paper of all the subjects will be based on 50% MCQs, 30% short questions, and 20% long questions. It has been ensured to the students that the board authorities will follow the issued paper pattern while formulating the question papers for the exams. Vaccination of all the teaching and non-teaching staff members must be ensured.
