Shafqat Mahmood Announces To Incorporate Ed-Tech In Pakistan Education Policy 2021

The federal minister for education and professional training has announced that the ministry is going to launch a new project with the collaboration of the World Bank to provide better educational facilities to the students. He said that that the government will incorporate the Ed-Tech in the Pakistan education policy 2021. Earlier an online meeting was held in which the owners of the Ed-Tech industry had said that the technology will be the core policy for the education plan of the academic year 2021. The main agenda of the meeting was to highlight the importance of technology in education and the new plans for the use of technology in academics. 

Better Learning Environment 

In the meeting, it had been proposed that the students should be provided with a conducive and a better learning environment so that they can enjoy and learn at the same time. New and innovative methods should be used to educate the students that increase their interest level and create an ecosystem in education. In this regard, a new project will be initiated soon for online content development and it will be beneficial for the Pakistan Ed-Tech Industry.

Computer Education

According to the education minister as per the national education policy, computer education will be incorporated from class six to eight. Moreover, the internet connectivity and coverage across the country will be enhanced to facilitate the students. The teachers will also be trained to adopt the latest learning technologies. The minister added that the reassessment study will also be conducted by the concerned officials to learn about the progression of the newly introduced initiatives. Furthermore, the government will also address the challenges faced by the students in the schools and colleges of Pakistan through Ed Tech solutions.
