Sexually assault cases of little girls getting increase in Pakistan

Sahiwal: The cases of sexually abusing little girls in Pakistan are becoming quite common. Another case comes in front when police of Farid Town on Sunday arrested a youngster who had allegedly subjected a minor girl to rape in Barkat Town on Saturday.

As per the inhabitants, eight-year-old daughter of Shakeel, a resident of Barkat Town, went to a shop in the locality to purchase chips on Saturday evening.

She was allegedly trapped by a young boy, to a deserted house where he raped her and fled leaving her injured.

Afterwards, some lookers-on, alarmed by the cries of girl, entered the abandoned house where they found her lying injured.

On being informed of the incident, parents of girl shifted her to the district headquarters hospital where she was provided treatment.

As per the hospital sources, her condition was stable and police collected the DNA samples for further investigations.

According to the Farid Town police, they had arrested the suspect.
