The Rawalpindi divisional administration has mandated the enforcement of Section 144 around all examination centers for the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) annual examinations scheduled to commence on March 4, 2025. The directive was issued following a high-level meeting chaired by Rawalpindi Commissioner Amir Khattak, focusing on ensuring transparency, security, and a stress-free examination environment.

To curb any malpractice, the administration has decided to implement strict security measures, including:
Enforcement of Section 144 around exam centers.
Deployment of security personnel at sensitive examination centers.
Installation of CCTV cameras in examination halls for surveillance.
Regular inspections by deputy commissioners and assistant commissioners.
Immediate FIR registration in cases of malpractice or negligence.

The deputy commissioners of Attock, Jhelum, Murree, and Chakwal participated in the meeting via video link and pledged full support to BISE Rawalpindi for fair and smooth examination conduct.
