School Education Department Announced To Implement The Same Education System By 2021

The School Education Department has taken a bigger step regarding the school syllabus. From the current academic year, the Textbook board changed the syllabus of the various classes of the public sector schools. Many changes have been made in the syllabus of different Books From 1st to 10th Grade. The students of the 1st to 5th class will be taught the syllabus in the Urdu medium. The school education department announced to implement the same education system by 2021.
Change in School Syllabus:
The changes introduced in the syllabus of several subjects are as follows
Prep Class- English, Mathematics and Urdu
Class One and Two- English, Urdu, Mathematics and General Knowledge
Class Three- Mathematics and General Knowledge
Class Four- Mathematics and Social Studies
Class Five-English, Mathematics and Social Studies
Class Six-Geography
Class Eight- Mathematics and Geography
Class Nine-Computer
Class Ten- Pakistan Studies
Opinion about the Change
The general secretary of the Punjab Teacher Union, Rana Liaquat Ali said that there is no need to change the syllabus of the various classes as the School Education Department declared to provide the same education to everyone. He furthermore added that the government needs devise an effective strategy to improve the standard of education.
School Leaving Certificate
The Education Department has also eliminated the need of the school leaving certificate for the students that have been promoted to the next grade. The students can easily get admission in the new institute without having the leaving certificate issued by the relative school authorities. This decision will facilitate many students across the province of Punjab.
