Rawalpindi Students protested against 9th class result 2011

Rawalpindi, board of intermediate and secondary education Rawalpindi, 9t h class examination result was worse this year as compared to its last results. This year about, 1 lakh students were declared fail and complete result and Gazette were also not been published by the Board. In the case of 10t h class result, approximately 1272 students still are not given their results. Students created violence at the roads and protested against the poor performance of the board in front of the board office. They burned tires and blocked the traffic for hours. Board authorities called police to stop this violence.

President of all Pakistan private schools management association Ibrar Ahmad Khan challenged the results in high court and also demanded for the rechecking of upcoming intermediate results after their declaration. He demanded that all the papers should be re checked and students would not be asked to pay rechecking fee. Chairman board told association president Ibrar Ahmad Khan that board has all its concentration on intermediate results, after that they will start working on 9t h class results and waiting students of 10t h class would be declared their results soon. He also said that board is investigating for problem creators, as soon as they will be revealed, board will take strict action against them.

Students again have decided to protest before Board office today. To avoid any critical situation Board has called police. Students are concerned about their results, according to their statements they had given their best papers, how could be they failed, they are demanding for showing them their papers. Board sources are blaming online system for all this chaos. Board’s computers are not reading papers correctly and reading 0 as 8 and 8 as 3.  President association Ibrar Khan told that all these mishappenings have resulted in wastage of academic year for 10t h class students and demanded higher authorities to resolve this issue till Eid. If it does not happened, association will challenge complete result in high court.
