Punjab University has announced a fee waiver for the students due to the ongoing situation of the pandemic. The lockdown was enforced in March and all the educational institutes remain closed for almost six months and then reopened in September. To minimize the academic loss of the students the Punjab University organized the online classes for the students so that they can save their academic year. Now the university has pronounced to provide the fee concession to the students as they had not attended the regular classes.

 

Concession in Semester Fee

It is informed to the students who are studying online from any semester will submit the 50% amount out of the 100% fee challan which they have been paying as the normal routine days. It is also stated that those students who have already submitted their full fee in the previous semester, their extra 50% fee will be adjusted in the fee challan for the next semester. The relief has been given by considering the current scenario as all the educational activities faced disruptions for almost half and year. Although the classes have been resumed phase-wise as per the proposed schedule by the university officials.
