The Punjab Police Department is inviting job applications for the positions of Sub-Inspector under both the open merit and the service quota. The applications are on the regular basis and the applicants throughout Punjab are encouraged to apply for these vacant positions.
PPSC Service Quota Punjab Police Jobs
The applications are invited to the candidates throughout Punjab. All the interested applicants have to follow the below-given eligibility criteria to be eligible.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have a graduate degree from a recognized university
- Applicants must have completed 03 years of service as head constables and assistant sub-inspector in the functional unit.
PPSC Open Merit Punjab Police Jobs
The Punjab police department is also inviting fresh candidates to join Punjab police based on open merit vacancies. The following eligibility criteria are selected for the open merit candidates:
Physical Requirements For Male: Height 5 feet 7 inches (170.18 cm) and chest 33” to 34.5 inches.
Physical Requirements For Female: Height 5 feet 2 inches.
Written Examination Syllabus
Both the candidates, under service quota and the open merit candidates, will appear for the written exam which will be comprised of 100 MCQs, and applicants will be asked to complete the paper within 90 minutes. The following is the syllabus detail:
1. General Knowledge: 20 Marks section
The section will be comprised of general questions about Pakistan Affairs, Current Affairs, Everyday Science, Islamic Studies, Geography, Fundamental Rights, Basic Math, and Urdu, etc.
2. English: 40 Marks Section
The section will be comprised of Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Correction/Completion, one-word substation, and idioms.
3. I.T and Language Comprehension
Understanding of basic software like MS Office, Electronic record-keeping, Internet, E-mail, etc.
Application Procedure and Deadline
The mode of application is online and candidates are required to apply before November 12th, 2020.
